Observers of Togolese sociopolitical scene share the view that there is need for a renewal of citizenship in the heart of every citizen as well as in the mind of every leader of the country.

The author proposes new foundational myths to readers, drawing inspiration from both historical experiences of communal life and the demands of modernity. These narratives seek to gradually yet resolutely promote inner purification, transformation of collective consciousness, and promotion of tolerance and forgiveness. In doing so, these myths aim to reinforce the aspiration for harmonious coexistence, peace, unity, and shared prosperity.
