Instructor

Akponi Tarno   has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Université de Lomé (Togo-West Africa) and  a PhD in Translation Studies from the same University. He is a senior lecturer  in English Linguistics and Language Didactics at the Faculty of Languages and Arts of the Université de Lomé, Togo. He has published articles in English as a foreign language and in translation. He serves as the associate Editor of RILLICC (International Journal of Language, Literature, Culture and Civilization), a scholarly journal published by the Université de Lomé. He is a specialist in English Linguistics, with a focus on English language teaching. He is also deeply committed to  translation studies and advancing scientific and pedagogical research in the field within Togo. As a journal associate editor, he plays an active role in ensuring the quality and academic rigor of published research contributions.
