Professor Ataféï Pewissi, Chair of Doctoral programs in Anglophones Studies at the Université de Lomé. He is an expert of the African Madagascar Council for Higher Education (CAMES) for the evaluation of university lecturers and researchers of the members states. A scientific and pedagogic chair of the Faculty of Arts at the Université de Lomé in Togo. Expert Instructor with 15 years of experience in scientific research and academic publications with a solid background in African literature in English, gender and cross-gender studies, literature and environment, literature and human rights in the post-colonial era, literature and sustainable peace, literary theory and criticism. Devoted to research quality and inclusive education, he has mentored more than 100 early-career researchers on academic research competence, data analysis, digital humanities, and navigating the complexities of the academic publishing landscape. After his full professorship status in 2014, Rethinking Womanism: When Difference Maps Chaos (2017), Mon projet de paix en 100 Maximes (2021), La PAIX durable avant, pendant et après les ÉLECTIONS (2023) are among many other works, Professor Pewissi’s recent publications. Pewissi opens room for quality research and knowledge sharing with academics and civil society organizations through organizing international conferences/webinars, colloquia, and seminars on literature and peace, human rights and free circulation of goods and people across borders. He is open in sharing practical strategies, and supporting your academic and professional career.
